The Story of Elvis Pressley Junior

Every once in awhile you get a call with a strange story in this business.  I got a call from a guy who was foreclosing on a home and asked me if I wanted to buy the property.  After asking my normal questions, I found out a very strange but amusing story.  (I'm going to use initials to protect some of the people).

K.G. (a private individual) held the mortgage on a property that was bought by a military man and his wife (S.C.).  A few short years later, the husband passed away.  The wife's doctor (R.T.) then allegedly swindled S.C. into adding him to the deed of the home in lieu of paying for her medical bills.  This doctor also had a patient that had legally changed his name to Elvis Pressley Jr.  Elvis then moved into the back of the home.  S.C. and R.T. co-authored a book called: "The Biggest Secret of Elvis' Life Never Before Told". This short book was about S.C. having an affair with The real Elvis Pressley.  S.C. passed away after the book was self-published.  So now R.T. owned the property with Elvis Jr. living in the back apartment.  R.T. then got put in Federal Prison for medical fraud.  Apparently, he was exchanging people's possessions for medical treatment and cheating the TennCare program.   So, K.G. who still had the mortgage was going to get the property back at the foreclosure due to R.T. being in prison.  Meanwhile Elvis Jr. was living in the back apartment for free.  This is where Blue Ridge Homes (BRH) came in.  K.G. sold BRH the property in July 2005 with Elvis Jr.

We helped Elvis Jr. move into a new apartment in the summer.

Below is a link of some photos of Elvis Jr's decor of his home. Myself and many other contractors had never seen something like this. Elvis Jr. informed me he painted all the rooms himself with 5 coats of textured paint topped with glitter he blew onto the surface. There are also some photos after our renovation to see the transformation.
